Welcome to the character section, where you can obviously find information on all of the main Vagrant Story characters.

Ashley Riot

Ashley Riot is the main character an you will play as him through the game. Ashley is a rather well built man with a hair do which..well..looks like a womans. Squaresoft must have gotton rid of the old I-don't-care-about-anyone-or-thing idea (I.E - Squall or Cloud from FF8 and FF7) and replaced it with this idea. Although Ashley doesn't really have feelings for anyone except his dead wife and child (he thinks...this will be explained later..It is one amazing plot twist), he is not all deppressed and stuff, like Squall. Ashley becomes the ultimate being at the end of the game.

Sydney Lassarot

Hmm..A very strange character indeed. He looks like a normal human (except..um..he has replaced his limbs with metal ones..), but he is one of the most powerful people in the game. He is almost immortal because of the tattoo he has imprinted on his back of the rood inverse. The Rood Inverse is a symbol of a sword like object with four blades protruding out of the main blade (I'll put a picture in later..). But when Guildenstern also wishes to be immortal, he catches Sydney off guard and somehow takes the tattoo off Sydney and manages to print it on himself. How is unknown. At the start, Sydney is the equality of Sephiroth of FF7 or Seifer of FF8. But later in the game, he becomes good, and helps Ashley and even manages to give him the rood inverse.

Romeo Guildenstern

Ah, the devil itself. Guildenstern becomes the ultimate being just before the end of the game..Cue final boss! Guildenstern is an amzingly evil character, who even kills his own girlfriend so he could become what he has always desired. Murderous swine! Sorry..it just seemed cool to say it. You discover Guildenstern once you emerge from the Wine Cellar of Leá Monde, and see one of his hench men brutally killing a follower of Sydney. The next main point about Guildenstern is when Sydney challenges him to a fight, but realizes he is not the only one with great powers. Heh..I love mystery..
